Mid-June scans will determine whether Nikki Bella’s ankle has healed enough for clearance, with X-rays and MRIs set to check bone growth after the injury that sidelined her from WrestleMania 42.
Squatting for the first time marked a recovery milestone, as Bella said she has advanced from basic rehab to strength work with her trainer and physical therapist.
Bella said the ankle rehab has been harder than recovering from her broken neck, and she is trying to rebuild enough strength before the scans to pass later clearance tests.
