Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed program now sells refurbished Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 devices, with the 256GB Fold 7 priced at $1,699 and backed by a one-year warranty.
The best value appears in higher-capacity Fold 7 models: Samsung lists refurbished 512GB and 1TB versions at $1,749 and $1,879, with the 1TB model about $540 below Amazon’s current price.
The entry model is less compelling because new-device discounts have recently beaten it — a brand-new 256GB Fold 7 briefly sold for $1,599.99, and Amazon still lists it at $1,675.
Trade-ins also favor new purchases, with Samsung offering up to $582 on refurbished Fold 7 orders versus as much as $1,000 on new ones.
The program arrives roughly three months before Samsung’s expected summer Unpacked event, when Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 are widely expected, making the refurbished offer more attractive to bargain buyers than to shoppers chasing the latest hardware.
