Xiaomi has made the 17 Max official as the fourth model in its 17 lineup, centered on an 8,000 mAh battery and a 200 MP main camera rather than the Pro Max's rear display.
The phone pairs that battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging; Xiaomi says it can last more than two days and retain 80% capacity after 1,600 charge cycles.
At CNY 4,799 for 12GB/256GB and CNY 5,799 for 16GB/512GB, the device also includes a 6.9-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and 50 MP telephoto and ultrawide cameras.
The catch is availability: Xiaomi has launched the 17 Max only in China, with no firm indication yet of a Western release.
