A deleted X post from VR creator Gamertag VR said Valve’s Steam Frame headset would launch “next month,” pointing to a possible June release that Valve has not confirmed.
Last week, Valve added “Initial Support” for Steam Frame to SteamOS Manager, a step that suggests the headset is nearing launch.
The leak’s credibility remains disputed: screenshots circulated after the post vanished, and some users argued the wording looked off compared with Valve’s usual branding.
Valve has already asked creators to remove some Steam Frame material, and leaked code also points to a reservation program similar to the Steam Controller rollout after that device sold out in about 30 minutes.
With a rumored $1000 price tag, is the Steam Frame a niche toy or the future of Valve's gaming ecosystem?
