Korea's Game Rating and Administration Committee has classified Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition, signaling Sega may be preparing a new release of the 2022 game.
Dealabs leaker Billbil-kun, cited in an update to the report, says the edition is slated for Switch 2 on June 23, 2026, with a $49.99 U.S. price and a physical version.
Sega has not officially announced the title, and the Korean rating did not list platforms or other release details.
4.57 million copies of Sonic Frontiers had been sold worldwide as of November 2025, and the game already received post-launch DLC.
The rating matters because the original Switch version was widely seen as a weaker port, making a Definitive Edition a likely chance to target Nintendo's newer hardware.
