Cozy Worlds Together will arrive on Quest in June as a free standalone companion app that lets up to 12 players explore user-created worlds together.
Cozy Worlds owners can export and share their custom creations, while friends who do not own the base app can join and play for free.
Players can collaboratively reshape terrain, build paths between floating islands, carve tunnels and use playful environmental mechanics in a more social version of the original experience.
VRTogether said the app is meant to extend Cozy Worlds' calm, creative feel into multiplayer play; it also adds a "Pudu mode" that turns users into a tiny South American deer.
The app is already available to wishlist on the Meta Horizon store ahead of its June launch.
