Ms. Rachel asked parents and caregivers to send love and prayers to Danny Go after his 14-year-old son Isaac died of cancer on May 21.
Danny Go, whose real name is Daniel Coleman, announced Isaac’s death on Instagram, calling being his father “the honor of a lifetime” and praising his son’s joy through years of illness.
In April, Coleman said Isaac’s cancer was spreading aggressively, that a mass under his right eye was being treated with palliative radiation, and that the family had shifted to hospice and comfort-focused care.
The outpouring comes as “Danny Go!” has recently climbed into Netflix’s Top 10 children’s programming, often appearing alongside “Ms. Rachel.”
