Homan Dares Texas Candidate Over ICE Jail Threats as Democrats Denounce Her 1 Campaign

Tom Homan on Thursday told Texas House candidate Maureen Galindo to "bring it," rejecting her threat to turn the Karnes ICE detention center into a prison for former ICE agents and "American Zionists."
Galindo’s campaign posted earlier this month that the site would also become a "castration processing center for pedophiles," then later said she did not call for Jews to be put in internment camps.
Homan said threats of lawsuits or arrests would not slow the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown, adding that officers would keep pushing ahead with what he called record arrests and removals.
Galindo, now in a primary runoff for a Texas congressional seat, says she received death threats and accuses the DCCC of smearing her to help runoff rival Johnny Garcia.
Hakeem Jeffries and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez were among Democrats who distanced themselves, turning the episode into a broader intra-party dispute as well as a clash over immigration enforcement.
