NYSE and Nasdaq will close after regular trading on Friday, May 22, and stay shut through Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day, reopening at 9:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday.
The U.S. bond market ends earlier, at 2 p.m. ET on Friday, under the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association's holiday schedule.
Banks, post offices and many non-essential government agencies will also close for the holiday honoring fallen U.S. military personnel.
The 2026 market calendar next includes full-day closures on June 19, July 3, Sept. 7, Nov. 26 and Dec. 25, with early closes on Nov. 27 and Dec. 24.
