Gray Eugene Middleton II, 55, was arrested after Kentucky State Police's Electronic Crime Branch linked him to alleged child sexual exploitation material in an undercover internet investigation.
A May 21 search warrant at a Vine Grove home led investigators to seize the electronic equipment they say was used in the alleged crimes.
Middleton is charged with 10 counts of distributing matter portraying a minor under 12 in a sexual performance and is being held at the Hardin County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
