Several hundred ZDNET readers have already preordered the Fitbit Air at $99, ahead of the tracker’s official release on Tuesday after Memorial Day.
The offer bundles a free $35 band, cutting the typical setup cost from about $135 to $99 and positioning the device as a cheaper, subscription-free rival to Whoop.
Amazon, Best Buy and the Google Store all carry the preorder deal, but color availability varies; Best Buy limits the $99 price to Obsidian, while Google offers the widest selection.
The Steph Curry Rye edition is available only at Best Buy and the Google Store, but at $130 rather than the $99 promotional price.
