Prime Video released the first trailer for "Vought Rising," a 1950s-set "The Boys" prequel led by Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash and slated to debut in 2027.
The teaser frames the series around Vought International's origins, showing undercover investigations, early Compound V testing and the franchise's signature violence.
Ackles returns as Soldier Boy and Cash as Clara Vought, aka Stormfront, alongside Mason Dye, Will Hochman, KiKi Layne, Jorden Myrie, Nicolo Pasetti, Elizabeth Posey, Ricky Staffieri and Brian J. Smith.
Paul Grellong serves as showrunner, with Ackles and Cash producing and Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg among the executive producers for Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.
