John Morgan Blasts DNC 2024 Autopsy After Giving $0 to Harris Campaign

John Morgan, a former Democratic megadonor who said he gave $0 once Kamala Harris led the 2024 ticket, called the DNC’s election autopsy a “waste of time.”
Morgan said Democrats lost because they embraced DEI, “woke” politics, transgender athlete policies and weak border enforcement, arguing those issues alienated core voters and key demographics.
The report itself blamed the 2024 defeat on weaker party infrastructure, falling voter registration, cuts to state parties and failures to hear some voter groups.
Ken Martin, the DNC chair, publicly distanced himself from the document, saying it did not meet his standards even as he released it for transparency with annotations.
Morgan said Democrats still have a “deep bench” including Andy Beshear and Rahm Emanuel, but warned the party would keep losing if it moved toward candidates he labeled socialist.
