Firmware for Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 9 has surfaced online, a sign the smartwatch has moved from development into testing ahead of an expected summer 2026 debut.
SM-L345U also appeared in a major database earlier this year, and the watch was briefly listed on Samsung’s trade-in site, reinforcing that the product is nearing launch.
Current expectations point to a July 22 unveiling alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8, with retail availability roughly two weeks later.
Leaks so far suggest a 40 mm and 44 mm lineup, the Exynos W1000 chip, and a larger 435 mAh battery for the bigger model, while pricing remains unconfirmed near the prior $349 starting point.
