Malik Nabers is now viewed as impossible to timetable after a second knee procedure, with John Harbaugh saying the goal is merely to have him back sometime in training camp and ready for the season if possible.
Harbaugh said Nabers is rehabbing a complicated ACL-related injury and "in the slog of it," a notably less upbeat assessment than earlier offseason optimism from general manager Joe Schoen.
Thursday's OTA also featured other health concerns: Roy Robertson-Harris limped off with a right-leg issue, Jalin Hyatt was sidelined after appearing to get hurt, and Andrew Thomas was held out of 11-on-11 work under a precautionary ramp-up plan.
Darius Slayton, recovering from sports hernia surgery, did not practice but Harbaugh said he should be 100% by training camp, leaving the Giants' receiver group still in flux during spring work.
