A €100 one-off payment will go to pensioners, children, students and private-sector workers earning under €1,000 a month after Kosovo's government approved the package ahead of the vote.
The measure also raises maternity benefits, expanding pre-election support as Prime Minister Albin Kurti seeks another term after months of political deadlock.
The €1,000 income cap reaches much of Kosovo's workforce, where average net monthly pay was €552 in 2024, according to the statistics agency.
