Florescence arrived on May 22 as Maisie Peters’ first album since 2023 chart-topper The Good Witch, with Peters calling the new record a more “healed” reflection of life at 25.
The 25-year-old singer said the album keeps her storytelling but shifts “tonally and sonically” after a period marked by pressure, anxiety and a vocal condition.
Julia Michaels wrote the song Kingmaker, while Marcus Mumford appears on If You Let Me; Peters said both collaborations helped shape the record’s more settled feel.
Peters, who opens Radio 1’s Big Weekend buildup this week, said fans will have to “wait and see” on a full tour, though she already has a London O2 show planned for 2027.
