User reports and a Galaxy S26 Ultra check show Samsung's latest One UI builds no longer offer camera filters in video mode, including 1080p 30fps and 1080p 60fps recording.
The option still appears in photo mode, suggesting the change arrived with One UI 8.5 and persists in the One UI 9 beta rather than affecting only 4K capture as before.
Workarounds remain limited: users can enable a filter in photo mode and long-press to record video, or add filters later in Samsung's Gallery app, though that reportedly compresses footage.
Samsung has not said whether the missing feature is a bug or an intentional removal, as the company expands One UI 8.5—based on Android 16—to more Galaxy devices.
