Inti Creates Unveils 2 Switch 2 Gunvolt Releases, Including iX 3 for 2027

Inti Creates added Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 3 to its Switch 2 lineup, with the 2D action sequel set for 2027.
iX 3 brings Copen back to his home world against “iX Bearers,” adding twin energy swords called Divide Edge and a Code Customizer system for deeper character builds.
The studio also confirmed Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced for Switch 2 in 2026, bundling the first three games and all DLC with higher frame-rate and resolution support.
That edition expands the package with a new Azure Striker Gunvolt GX story, where players swap between Gunvolt and Copen using an “Inspiration” system.
The announcements broaden a growing Gunvolt push on Nintendo’s new hardware, alongside the previously revealed Luminous Avenger iX 1+2 Dual Collection due in July.
