Two hours of Giants OTA work in 90-degree heat featured Calvin Austin III as the offense's most productive target, turning multiple Jaxson Dart completions into would-be chunk gains.
Dart looked sharp getting the ball out quickly, connecting with Austin on an over route, screen and slant, while also fitting throws to Gunner Olszewski, Malachi Fields and Isaiah Likely.
Likely supplied the session's top highlight with a one-handed catch on a high Dart pass, while Jameis Winston added touchdown throws to Theo Johnson and Eric Gray in red-zone work.
Rico Payton capped the practice with a deflected-ball interception return for a would-be touchdown after an earlier pass breakup, as Kayvon Thibodeaux, Brian Burns and Chauncey Golston also generated pressure.
The second OTA also showed a defense still learning a new scheme, with Tyler Nubin and Burns seen communicating on the sideline before the Giants wrap this week's spring work Thursday.
