Leaked specs for Nothing’s CMF Phone 3 Pro point to two key upgrades: a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip replacing MediaTek silicon and a larger 5,400mAh battery with 45W charging.
That combination would push the budget phone closer to mid-range territory, though the switch to Qualcomm could also lift the price from the current model’s £249 toward about £299.
Camera and display details look largely unchanged, with a 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto, 8MP ultrawide, and a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel.
Design remains less clear: the latest leak says the phone may get a metal frame, contradicting an earlier report that pointed to an all-plastic build.
Launch timing still appears later than the CMF Phone 2 Pro’s April 2025 debut, with the Phone 3 Pro now expected around August or September 2026 after an entry-level model arrives first.
Will the Phone 3 Pro's year-old chip be its fatal flaw in the competitive late 2026 budget market?
Is CMF's move to premium materials abandoning the very formula that crowned it a 'budget king'?
