June 6 in Portland will bring New Fever’s biggest match yet, with Danny Orion and Josh Shimbashi challenging The Midnight Heat for the Pandemonium Tag Team Championship at Dismantling Summer.
WrestleMania Week in Las Vegas helped earn the shot, as the duo’s fast-paced style and growing popularity on the independent scene pushed them into title contention.
Shimbashi said he expects to leave with a belt and predicted New Fever could hold three tag titles by year-end, while Orion said the team would "dog walk" the champions.
The pairing is still less than a year old: both wrestlers came from separate groups, later teamed regularly on shared bookings, and recently beat Jordan Saint and Robert Martyr at Pandemonium Pro’s Whatever Forever.
Danny Orion is a singles champion, but can New Fever's unconventional partnership dethrone established tag team champions?
Is New Fever's confidence justified, or will their recent title match loss be a preview of their Portland showdown?
