July 11 will mark Conor McGregor’s first UFC appearance in five years when he headlines UFC 329 against Max Holloway at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
McGregor said he is “better than ever” and entering an intense training camp, framing the rematch as his chance to reassert himself after the leg injury he suffered in a July 2021 loss to Dustin Poirier.
The welterweight bout revives a matchup McGregor won nearly 13 years ago and gives him a shot at his first combat-sports victory in more than six years.
Holloway also enters needing a rebound after a lopsided decision loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC 327 in March.
