October 29 is the launch date FuRyu gave for ANOMALITH, a survival action horror game coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 after its Six One Indie reveal.
Third-person combat centers on investigator Reona Minazuki, who wakes after a 10-year sleep inside an anomaly and fights through reality-warping Otherworlds with guns, melee finishers and inventory management.
The game’s progression hinges on a Demi-Humanization System that lets players gain active and passive anomaly abilities, alongside more than 300 customizable items across nine body parts.
More than 200 investigation reports and a home-base cast are meant to flesh out the mystery of the Otherworlds, as FuRyu positions the title as a Resident Evil 4-style tactical shooter with anomaly-horror worldbuilding.
Can the composer of Elden Ring and writer of Humanity Has Declined truly reinvent the survival horror genre?
Will ANOMALITH's reality-bending 'anomaly horror' deliver an innovative experience or just repackage familiar survival tropes?
