COROS on May 19 rolled out a read-only Model Context Protocol that lets athletes query their training history directly in ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro using natural-language prompts.
More than 1,100% year-over-year growth in API access requests drove the move, with COROS positioning MCP as a faster alternative to manual exports, third-party integrations and broader approval workflows.
The integration uses existing COROS credentials and avoids new data pathways, while launch availability is limited to customers in North America and Europe.
Write access is planned next, which would let AI-generated training plans sync to calendars and adjust workouts based on recovery and race goals.
The AI push came alongside new PACE 4 releases this week, including a $289 Jakob Ingebrigtsen edition and a $279 Cloud White colorway.
