Eight new endgame missions in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will pit Edward Kenway against historical pirate hunter Robert Miller after the original story ends.
Ubisoft says the missions are meant to flesh out Blackbeard's arc and resolve lingering plot threads while leaving the core Edward saga intact for returning players.
Paul Fu said the remake also adds new side missions, new islands and new ending missions for other characters, bringing the total new content to about six hours.
Black Flag Resynced launches July 9 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC as a linear single-player action-adventure rather than an RPG.
