September 17 is the launch date for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV on PC, with the $89.99 Commander Edition unlocking play on September 14 and the standard edition priced at $59.99.
Pre-orders opened during the Warhammer Skulls Showcase with a 10% discount on both editions; the higher-tier bundle also includes all Year One content and the digital soundtrack.
Year One support will mix free updates and paid DLC, including the return of Crusade Mode in fall 2026, plus new modes, map packs, a Mission Editor and added Last Stand commanders.
Two paid expansions are planned: a Blood Ravens story prologue set on Aurelia and an Aftermath campaign that adds a fifth faction and continues the Kronus war.
