Studio by Spotify Labs is rolling out as a research-preview desktop app that lets select users aged 18+ generate private AI podcasts and daily audio briefs, then save them to their Spotify libraries across devices.
The app can pull from email, calendars, bookings and web results through an agent, turning multi-step prompts into personalized audio such as trip briefings, dinner recommendations and podcast picks.
Spotify said the tool is an early preview and warned the AI can make mistakes or produce unreliable content; generated shows are for personal use only and are not published publicly.
The launch broadens a capability Spotify recently offered through a command-line tool, bringing non-coders into a market where Google NotebookLM and others already popularized AI-generated podcast briefings.
