Netflix Launches Daily Live 'Breakfast Club' on June 1 as Video Podcast Push Deepens

June 1 will mark Netflix’s first live daily video podcast, with “The Breakfast Club” streaming every weekday at 6 a.m. alongside its nearly three-hour radio broadcast.
The move expands Netflix’s existing partnership with iHeartMedia and adds a globally timed live show built around interviews and cultural commentary led by Charlamagne tha God.
Netflix has been pushing further into video podcasts in recent months through licensing deals with iHeartMedia, Spotify and others, including live runs of “The Bill Simmons Podcast” on Sundays.
For Netflix, the launch extends a broader live-programming strategy as the company tests recurring appointment viewing beyond sports and one-off events.
