Flipper said Flipper One is headed for a Kickstarter later this year with a target price of about $350, positioning the device as a customizable “network multitool” rather than another Flipper Zero add-on.
Rockchip’s RK3576 chip powers the cyberdeck, which Flipper says can beat a Raspberry Pi 5 in multi-core performance and support Wi-Fi 6E, Ethernet, 5G via M.2, eSIM or SIM, plus rear PCIe expansion.
Flipper is pitching usability as the differentiator: a D-pad and programmable-button interface, possible Flipper OS and app store support, and multiple profiles for roles like travel router, TV box, or emergency desktop.
The company is developing the device in public and asking its community for input, while CEO Pavel Zhovner framed it as a response to cloud subscriptions and vendor-locked hardware that make PCs feel less personal.
That open-device push comes after Flipper Zero drew scrutiny from municipalities and Canada over misuse in RFID skimming, Bluetooth spam attacks, office badge cloning, and car break-ins.
