JPMorgan Banker Lorna Hajdini Countersues Accuser Over April 27 Assault Claims

Tuesday night court papers in Manhattan show Lorna Hajdini countersuing Chirayu Rana, alleging he fabricated rape and drugging claims and seeking damages for defamation, emotional distress and related claims.
The countersuit says Rana spread the allegations to maximize press coverage, inflict pain and extract millions from Hajdini and JPMorgan, leaving her subjected to harassment, ridicule, jokes and sexualized memes.
Rana’s April 27 lawsuit accused Hajdini of coercing him into non-consensual sex over months, using racial slurs and threats to sabotage his career; Hajdini denies supervising him, using epithets or threatening him.
JPMorgan, also named in Rana’s suit, said it fully supports Hajdini and still believes the allegations against her and the bank lack merit; the bank had previously offered Rana $1 million to settle before he sued.
