Los Angeles police took Daniel Leonard into custody around 5:29 a.m. Wednesday after responding to a reported restraining-order violation at a private West Los Angeles residence.
TMZ reported the 25-year-old tried to enter his father Sugar Ray Leonard's home by turning exterior door handles, and officers found him near the pool house.
LAPD confirmed the arrest on suspicion of violating a restraining order but did not say whether it was the same order Sugar Ray Leonard recently sought against his son.
