May 28 will bring Street Fighter 6 two new modes—Random Avatar Matches for online battles and Avatar Arcade for CPU-based avatar leveling—alongside Ingrid’s release.
Random Avatar Matches fixes levels and base parameters through Level Sync while unlocking gauge limits, accessory slots, master styles, special moves and Super Arts to make fights quicker and fairer.
Avatar Arcade splits into Spar with a Master and Battle Tour, letting players farm moves, gear and rewards through CPU battles, with rare items tied to powerful surprise challengers.
Outfit 2 unlocks sit at the center of both additions: players can earn them through Avatar Arcade progression, use them to access special character colors, or still obtain them via World Tour or the shop.
Are the new avatar modes a sign Capcom is now prioritizing casual players over its hardcore fanbase?
What does the arrival of lore-heavy character Ingrid signal for the future of Street Fighter's story?
