India’s flash May PMIs showed economic activity broadly unchanged, with the composite index at 58.1 versus 58.2 in April.
Services remained the main source of strength, holding at 58.9 after 58.8 in April, while manufacturing eased to 54.3 from 54.7.
All three readings stayed above the 50 mark that separates expansion from contraction, pointing to continued growth even as factory momentum softened slightly.
