Martin Emborg said IO Interactive wants 007: First Light to leave players agreeing it is "the best Bond game ever," with actor Patrick Gibson joking it should be "the best game ever."
May 29 is the release date for the Bond title on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, as the studio steps up promotion a little over a week before launch.
IO is pitching the game as a different take on James Bond, drawing on the studio's Hitman-style social stealth rather than sticking to the shooter or pure stealth formulas of earlier Bond games.
