Dallas forward Cooper Flagg headlined the Kia NBA All-Rookie first team announced Wednesday after edging Charlotte's Kon Knueppel 56-44 for Rookie of the Year.
A 100-member global media panel picked Flagg, Knueppel and Philadelphia's VJ Edgecombe unanimously, with San Antonio's Dylan Harper and Memphis' Cedric Coward rounding out the first team.
Flagg averaged 21.0 points and 4.5 assists, Knueppel scored 18.5 points and became the first rookie to lead the NBA in made 3-pointers with 273, while Edgecombe averaged 16.0 points.
Coward stood out as the lone first-team selection drafted outside the top four—he went No. 11—while Derik Queen, Maxime Raynaud, Jeremiah Fears, Ace Bailey and Collin Murray-Boyles made the second team.
