Montreal Victoire Clinch First PWHL Title With 4-0 Game 4 Win Over Ottawa

Abby Roque scored twice and Ann-Renée Desbiens stopped 23 shots as Montreal sealed the Walter Cup in Ottawa with a 4-0 shutout in Game 4.
Roque broke the game open at 3:49 of the second period on a deflection, then added a short-handed backhander in the third while Montreal killed three penalties.
Maggie Flaherty stretched the lead to 3-0 with 6:06 left, and Lina Ljungblom finished the scoring off an Ottawa turnover with 4:16 remaining.
Montreal had opened the best-of-five finals with two overtime wins at home before Ottawa stayed alive Monday with a 2-1 victory in Game 3.
