Apple is set to release the iPhone 18 Pro Max this fall with a 2nm A20 Pro chip, 12GB of RAM and a battery expected to top 5,100mAh, marking a major hardware jump from the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The upgrade is also expected to bring a 6.9-inch display, peak brightness above 3,000 nits and a roughly 40% smaller Dynamic Island, alongside Apple’s C2 modem for added efficiency.
Camera changes center on a triple 48MP rear setup and a variable-aperture main lens, while the front camera is tipped to rise to 18MP with Center Stage support.
Battery life could improve further with up to 40W wired and 25W wireless charging, versus 25W and 15W on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Earlier reports said Apple aims to keep iPhone 18 Pro pricing stable despite a global RAM shortage, using supply-chain scale to offset higher component costs.
