27 points are available in round three of Litter Box Cats' annual NHL playoff predictions contest as the NHL field narrows to the two conference-final series.
Fans must pick the winners of Carolina vs. Montreal and Colorado vs. Vegas, with 8 points assigned to one series and 7 to the other, plus 1-point bonuses for the correct series length.
Three-point bonuses go to correctly naming the player who scores the clinching game's winning goal in each series, while 2-point bonuses cover the first goal scorer for each team.
Comments are the entry method, the Eastern Conference final total-goals tiebreaker applies, and picks are due by 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The contest is run round by round, but an overall playoff winner will still be crowned at the end of the postseason in June.
