Google Health 5.0 is adding a new Android home screen widget that can show up to six fitness metrics at once, with each stat opening its full details page when tapped.
The widget can expand to 5x3 or shrink to a single stat, and it adds a heart icon to open the app, plus a last-updated indicator and a manual refresh button.
The feature arrives as Google completes the mandatory Fitbit-to-Google Health transition, which began rolling out on May 19 and is expected to finish by May 26.
That redesign also removes Fitbit branding and deepens Google’s push to fold Fitbit features into a broader Google Health ecosystem on Android.
