Rousey returned to the Octagon for the first time since Dec. 30, 2016 and submitted Carano with an armbar on May 16 at Inglewood’s Intuit Dome in what she says will be her final bout.
The victory was the 13th of Rousey’s career and her 10th inside 70 seconds, reinforcing Bidarian’s claim that she simply repeated the fast-finishing style that defined her peak.
Most Valuable Promotions, which staged its first MMA event with the bout, said the company plans more cards and is building a 'fighter-first' MMA brand after the high-profile debut.
