Samsung has started rolling out the May 2026 security update to the Galaxy A26 in Europe, delivering firmware BZE5 in a 290MB package.
The patch targets 39 vulnerabilities across Android OS, One UI and Samsung Galaxy components, while also bringing stability improvements.
The A26 is among Samsung's mid-range phones getting this month's fixes unusually quickly, even as the May patch has also reached flagship models including the Galaxy S26 and S25.
One UI 8.5 is being prepared for the Galaxy A26 and could arrive later in May or in early June, adding smoother animations, cleaner visuals and multitasking refinements, though expanded Galaxy AI features are not expected on this model.
