$7.99 a month is now the entry price for many of Google’s newest Android and Gemini features, including Docs Live, Gemini Omni Flash, Spark and Daily Brief.
Google is shifting those tools into AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscriptions because generative AI is costly to run at scale, turning Android from a free software perk into a delivery channel for recurring cloud revenue.
$19.99 Pro adds 5TB of storage, higher coding limits and YouTube Premium Lite, while Ultra tops out at $200 a month, with a lower-usage $100 option also offered.
