Volvo’s 2027 EX60 starts at $59,795 and delivers up to 400 miles of range, becoming the first vehicle built on the automaker’s all-electric SPA3 architecture.
The EX60 also introduces 800-volt charging, cell-to-body battery integration and megacasting—changes Volvo says speed charging, cut weight and reshape how it builds future EVs.
The lineup runs to $68,745 for the P10 AWD Ultra, while a higher-output P12 with more power and range is planned.
Safety remains a selling point: Volvo says every model, including the EX60, is tested against an 800-pound life-size rubber moose dummy to address a major Scandinavian road hazard.
The launch expands Volvo’s EV range alongside the EX90 after the company discontinued the EX30 this year amid shifting conditions and tariffs.
