$17.4 million in Series B funding will help RemotePass widen its commercial push in Europe and the US while investing further in AI, compliance and embedded fintech.
EBRD Venture Capital led the round, joined by 500 Global and existing investors, as demand grows for a single platform that combines hiring, payroll, contractor payments and corporate spend.
RemotePass said it became profitable in early 2025 before choosing to reinvest for growth, arguing its unit economics support expansion rather than a cash-preservation strategy.
The company now supports more than 35,000 workers in 150-plus countries and has processed over $800 million in cross-border payroll for clients including Logitech, Tata Group, InDrive and Careem.
Founded in 2021, RemotePass is betting that AI agents and products such as its late-2025 SpendCards launch will strengthen its position as employers seek end-to-end infrastructure for distributed teams.
