Camron Lee, 40, was arrested in Primo Tapia, Baja California, and his children Athena, 5, and Mateo, 4, were recovered nearly two years after they vanished following their mother’s July 2024 killing.
A public tip led investigators to Lee after the FBI spent nearly six months searching for him and the children through a bilingual reward campaign distributed across North America.
Sacramento police found Angelica Bravo dead in her home in July 2024; Lee was later charged with murder and four counts of possessing an assault weapon, and a federal unlawful-flight warrant followed in August 2024.
The children have been reunited with their maternal grandmother, while Sacramento prosecutors said Lee will face the murder case as U.S., Mexican and other agencies continue coordinating the cross-border investigation.
