Terrell Owens said he discovered on Oct. 3 that former manager Heather Mesalam had stolen from him, then posted an email and text exchange on Instagram to support the accusation.
A screenshot Owens shared showed an expense line reading "Me - 1500," which he said reflected money taken without his knowledge while Mesalam managed his business affairs.
Owens said Mesalam no longer works for him in any capacity and that the matter is already being handled; Fox News Digital said it sought comment from her.
The accusation revives Owens' long-running financial disputes after he linked it to past mismanagement by agents and adviser Jeff Rubin, whose scandal cost several NFL players more than $40 million from 2008 to 2011.
