May 21 is the new release date for A Long Survive's PC VR port, with developer Friendly Fire Studios saying the SteamVR version can now move ahead.
Crossplay issues affecting PC players were resolved after they forced the game to miss its planned May 14 launch; an earlier late-April delay had been blamed on extra polishing.
PC VR and PS VR2 versions are set to add major visual and gameplay improvements, plus a new horde system and a new map called Atlas.
PS VR2 still has no date, but Friendly Fire said it will announce that port on similarly short notice once crossplay is fixed there; the game is already available on Meta Quest.
With PC crossplay now fixed, what technical hurdles still prevent the game's launch on PlayStation VR2?
Will A Long Survive's promised PC VR overhaul and new horde system justify its multiple development delays?
