$800 in damage led to the May 14 arrest of 62-year-old Robert Boston, who faces trespass and criminal mischief charges after allegedly dismantling a neighbor's floodlight and Ring camera.
At 3 a.m. on March 25, investigators say Boston carried a ladder onto the property, went around a six-foot privacy fence, ignored No Trespassing signs and pulled wiring loose inside the wall.
Boston told investigators the floodlight and camera had been malfunctioning for weeks, but the neighbor said he had also turned off her floodlights on Dec. 24, 2025.
Santa Rosa County deputies said security footage and the neighbor identified Boston; his bail was set at $2,000 on charges tied to less than $1,000 in damage.
