$2 million in new funding lifted Series' pre-seed total to $5.1 million as the startup pushes its iMessage-based networking app beyond college users.
The company said it is using the capital to scale the platform, hire engineers and grow a Gen Z-focused service centered on professional connections rather than dating or general socializing.
Series delivers daily batches of 10 suggested contacts by text and lets users reply inside a single iMessage thread, with AI helping match people such as founders, investors or job seekers.
Investors include Venmo cofounder Iqram Magdon-Ismail, Reddit CEO Steve Huffman and firms including Pear VC, while the startup is already targeting an 8-figure seed round.
Series joins a wave of AI networking startups challenging LinkedIn by arguing younger users want faster, more personal connections in messaging apps where they already spend time.
